Hijacked and chaos

There was problems with the ferries today.  Our morning ferry mucked around on the the other side of the river at Chiswick and then when it arrived announced that due to a ferry broken down, our ferry would also be the 7.35 am ferry to Circular Quay.  Fortunately we only had to stop at Drummoyne and then Barrangaroo and from there it went to Milson's point and Circular Quay so I wasn't really late.

This evening's ferry decided to take a different route and headed in the direction of Milson's point despite announcing Cockatoo Island was first stop.  It pulled up alongside another ferry where Captain Pugwash and Captain Stubing exchanged I would imagine sporting tit bits, lunch boxes and other bibs and bobs and then we took off again to Cockatoo Island and the regular route home.  No explanation.

This different view of the city was taken while we were hijacked.

Sydney was jammed packed with holiday makers and tourists.  Crikey, you could barely walk in Pit Street, it was chaos!
