Technicolour Mailbox

Many homes in Australia have a mail box on a post on the edge of their property so that the postie can ride along on a motor bike and deliver the mail without dismounting.

The box at my Queensland place was more rust than box so I bought a new plain white one which looked so dull that I had a bit of fun making it stand out from the crowd. Here it is in the final stages - a couple of coats of marine varnish over the acrylics and it should be ready for use.
