Life is a Challenge!

Keep rubbing, Grandad!

This weekend, we are looking after our grandchildren, whilst their parents are away - well, it might be fairer to say they are looking after us!

I took some lovely snow pictures, but decided that as there is snow over most of the country, the main blips today would be of the snow - so decided to look for something a bit different.

Charlotte and Joshua went to school at 8.a.m. but by 9.45 a.m. the school decided to send the pupils home.

They walked home and when Charlotte got in, because she had only worn her Primark daps instead of decent shoes (well she is 16!), her feet were like blocks of ice. She put two pairs of fluffy socks on but they were still cold, so I suggested that for a short time she put her feet on the hall radiator. Then her feet started to tingle, so Grandad and I were drafted in to rub her feet whilst she pulled funny faces. I then thought "That's my blip for today" - so here it is, with her permission.

I think we are going to have a fun weekend - and if their parents get snowed in near Bath, then we have plenty of chocolate and games - except that Grandad and Josh are due to go to Chelsea on Sunday - that is if the trains are running!

P.S. They may have been cold but they're now talking about going out for a snowball fight - think Grandad and I will watch from inside though!
