Yorkshire Deep

I had arranged to meet a colleague in the café at the People’s History Museum.

I got there a bit early and a glimpse of some colour drew me briefly to this. An exhibition called The Unfurlings.

As the blurb says .......

Photographer Ian Beesley, cartoonist Tony Husband and poet Ian McMillan have been working with dementia groups around the country creating sixteen banners campaigning for a better understanding and representation of those living with dementia. These banners, based on traditional trade union designs, are important symbols of self-reliance and tangible proof of existence.
