Puss In Basin

I have 8 days holiday left over from last year, I decided to use one of them today.  And probably another one on Monday.  Actually 4 long weekends on the trot sounds like a pretty good idea.  And then keep going with this year's holiday allowance...

I had a message from a colleague saying it was a good idea to take today off, as I looked a bit "mitgenommen".  This had me very confused.  I know that mitgenommen is the past tense of "mitnehmen" which means "to take away", and "zum Mitnehmen" is to have a take-away, although the context is was used in the message I received made it clear it was an adjective - so maybe I was looking like an old Döner Kebab, I'm not really sure.

Nisha has had her injections that mean she can interact with the wide world, although I must admit to being really reluctant to let her out on her own.  She's so small.
