Air Snakes

"Luftschlangen" is the German word for streamers & that would translate literally into Englisch as "air snakes" which I found amusing.  Lots of Xmas trees now last so long that they become Karneval trees.

The rest of Saturday was not amusing.  A phone call this morning from the hospital - and the hospital never rings just to ask how you're doing...  The QSM has an infection in her hip that has not repsonded to antibiotics and so, they're going to operate again tomorrow.  Quite how she contracted the infection is another question altogether.

We told her this afternoon what was going to happen.

She may be 82 but she can really put some power into the word "Scheiße".

I hope your weekend is much more air-snakes than Scheiße.
