Chaiyya & Rani

For those who don't know where Chaiyya got her name.  Such a joyful song.  The man is Shah Rukh Khan & and the woman is Malaika Arora Khan.  Malaika also featured in the Song that gave Munni her name.

The cats have been bonkersing around the house pretty much all day.  Which is lots of fun to watch but is rubbish for every rug.  That doesn't matter, they are happy cats.

I wandered off down to the bakery this morning and met my favourite sparrow colony.  They live in several hedgerows around here but always as a group.  They chirp at each other like it was a big conversation and then when I get near, they all shut up and when I've passed by, they start up again.  This never fails to make me smile. 

Oh and I've just seen that this song is now on youtube.  I wouldn't bet against a cat getting named Aish.  I love Aishwarya in this song - her dancing is so beautiful - quite a contrast between her and her husband (Abhishek) & her father-in-law (Amitabh).  I really liked the film Bunty Aur Babli but Bunty or Babli are not really cat names.
