Crap Blip At The End Of A Good Day

I was up earlier than usual today - 7:30.  I wanted to have things prepared for the training course this morning and to test that things were actually working.

I'm glad I took the time - I could enjoy my morning bucket of tea, and a bit of chat with my co-presenter.  Everyone turned up, and I think it went well.  I knew what I was talking about and I could fix all the problems that the colleagues had.

I like it when people have problems - it gives them the chance to present their screen and I can walk them through the solution.  Everyone gets to watch, everybody learns a little bit more.

After 3 hours of that I was pretty tired but I made my usual offer - if anyone finds another problem, then just phone me - we go through it together and we'll solve the problem.  I'm not exactly known for being difficult to deal with.

And so, the telephone rang for most of the afternoon.  And my voice is now very, very deep.

Another day of it tomorrow but I have much less to do tomorrow - more there as support than anything.
