Xmas Trees Are Just For Xmas
I remember working on a project a long time ago where the deadline slipped and slipped. Senior management decided that the solution to that would be take time out of our days fixing things to write status reports that they wouldn't understand and would therefore be ignored.
Now it seems that because we've moved into the world of Agile Release Trains (No really), we have to open tickets for everything. I have enough to do. My manager - sorry, my Product Owner - has no real idea what happens on a mainframe. I'm sure he'll be delighted to read about how I fixed that problem in ISPF and that problem with the IBM Debug Tool. It won't mean a thing.
Sorry. It's been a long day and I could quite happily go to sleep right now. But I have said I will cook.
