More Fuses

I have an Oxford Optimiser wired onto the battery which does a great job of monitoring the battery and keeping it charged up between rides. However the connection between the bike and the device is cheap nasty rubbish. The cables keep coming out touching and then it blows the inline fuse. Now on my fourth fuse in 18 months. Why not charge the little extra it would cost to put a quality connector on it.

Picked up a new windows 10 PC today for the business.Paid for it to be set up by PC World so I expected to just plug and play. However as seems to be always the case in this country a half arsed job has been done of it and we will have to do a proper job of it ourselves.

Is everything digital a pain in the arse?Remember when you bought a camera set it up using the ASA,Shutter Speed,Aperture (on the lens where it should be) and your brain. No menus or function buttons and the model wasn't obsolete within minutes of leaving the shop.
Motorcycles have gone the same way.Rider modes set depending on road conditions, multiple trip settings, outdoor temperature readout (I am sat on the thing!I can tell if it is hot or cold).TFT Screens, average miles to the gallon, instant miles to the gallon, traction control.I mean why not engage your brain and just ride the thing, think what you are doing, do not rely on the electronics and you may just enjoy the experience a whole lot more.

Weather mild, windy and very grey.
