Nectar

A cabbage white butterfly exploring the sweet depths of the leek flowers.

Today was the hottest we have had since the long, summery spell last November.

Last night’s nor’west gale eased off after I went to bed. This morning I was surprised that there was little damage in the garden. The worst was a lot of fruit blown to the ground from the plum and apple trees.

Those of you who visited my blip early yesterday might be interested to see the part of the nor’west arch that was directly overhead. I added a shot as an extra on yesterday’s blip.
