this flower is doing really well these days and has about 7 flowers on it!  I think it likes the wet weather.  We have had a few amazing thunderstorms the past couple of days.

This morning I went to the hospital to have the dressing on my hand changed.  Don't get it wet they said!  Outside it was bucketing down and I had an umbrella.  When I reached the vehicle I was ankle deep in running water!  I don't know if you have ever tried opening a car door while holding an umbrella and trying to keep one hand dry.  Its not easy and I didn't manage it!  I got soaked, my hand was wet...but I got home safely!  Finger is slightly improved - swelling is reducing!
