Jenkin Crag

A Christmas present to self was a book - 111 places you should not miss in the Lake District.  No1 is Jenkin Crag, I've not heard of it and its not far away,  so with sun out today for a change, we went to find it.  This is the view from the crag- south down Windermere.  On the way we passed through Skelsghyll Woods which, according to the book, has the tallest Giant Grand Fir in England  at 57.8m (in 2012 when it was measured)  see here . Extra is my attempt at capturing the firs and I can't decide which picture I prefer.
