Disposable Culture

4 Exmas trees suddenly appeared near some communal bins.  They will be ignored by the bin men and presumably the neighbours.  What annoys me is there is a recycling place (ein Wertstoffhof) about 10 minutes away from where I saw these.  Even less if you have a car which virtually everyone* does.

The QSM is back in her single room after spending the night on the observation station with another patient who would make you crave your own room.  I genuinely believe some people are completely unaware of others or even the idea of common courtesy. 

We'll see how the QSM's recovery goes from here.  It would be nice to have at least a couple of weeks without another operation.

*Not me.  Never learned and never will.
