Hold Your Fire

evening all.

Had a few spare minutes this evening so had a little play at a different way of wire wool spinning,

It was partially a coincidence born of a little piece of burning wool that I couldn't dislodge from a whisk which ended up not throwing off sparks but throwing of a tighter ring of light .

It makes the effect less spectacular but a little easier to control and something I shall experiment further with.

( I'm aware that none of this is of interest to you, but will help me when I look back at this if I haven't burnt myself to death by then)

and a glass of Macallan raised in memory of the professor, a lifelong friend I never met,
