air like cotton wool

It snowed today. Not the roadclosingly hefty dollop that was predicted by the weather oracle but a dollop nonetheless, enough to fill the air with that quality of light only a snowfall can create (even if the windblusteries got up a bit too much for taking any nice crispy clear shots).

I was supposed to go on my next training run tonight but the freeze has started so I'm keeping my toes firmly on the rug in front of the fire.
