Keep Your Foot Down Fred....

....we're nearly past him!

Not far away from our villa there is a pipeline that takes water from a reservoir/lake through the countryside with the aim (I think) of providing irrigation for the fields around. The pipes are enormous and supported on concrete pillars which are excellent surfaces for the local graffiti artists.  Some of the results are very clever and some are just, well, just graffiti.  I photographed quite a few and with a couple I tried to create something different..

In this particular artwork I waited until a suitable vehicle was passing so that it would look like the graffiti car overtaking the lorry.  In the extra I requisitioned a model to look like Mr Lonely....

We went on to get some logs for the fire in the villa - there are various places that sell them ready cut in great heaps.  We drove onto the weighbridge, then loaded the logs we wanted before driving back on the weighbridge to see what we had loaded.  We pay for the difference in weight and off we go.

It's been quite warm today but the evening is still chilly so the log burner is doing a good job.
