Revisiting

We had gotten some corn for our deer feeder so this morning these three little deer came to eat.  They were all born last summer.  The one with the white feet we have been watching as it is unusual looking.  This morning we found out he is a boy as is one of the other deer with the bigger one being a girl.    

We have very little acorns  from our oak trees this year so we will keep feed in the corn feeder every so often to make sure these guys have a good start.    The habitat for deer in my area is slowly being taken over by housing.   Every week we see a deer that has been hit by a vehicle up on the main highway so we are doing our best to keep them hanging around our yard.

Our dog was outside when they showed up.  She came in the house and kept pawing at me.  I think she knows I would want to take a photo.   Sometimes she chases but mostly she just lays on the porch and watches them.    Animals are amazing creatures.
