Kissing gate

It wasnt raining! A bit grey but we decide a walk up from The Gill in Ulverston would make a change and also M wanted to take up a winter rain jacket  to the Hospice shop  ( as new , bought  too large before hed even lost weight )

There seemed to be quite a nip in the air but pleasant enough. The plan was to stay on the dry path but it was quite muddy and soggy.. however Fletch stayed reasonably clean. We stopped at the kissing gate as the field was muddier. The plan is to come back when its been dry for a while and continue the walk on to the top of the hoad ( could be  a while before we get the right weather!)

After dropping off the jacket we had a quick coffee and a stroll round the town. It's a nice little town with lots of individual shops and a quirky old fashioned feel that I like.

Fingers crossed, Fletch seems ok. Enjoyed his food and his walk.
