A change from potholes

I’d just been filling the bird feeders and inevitable got mobbed by pheasants, so I fed them too.  I counted 20 in total, though can’t see all of them here.  The minute food appears the bush telegraph goes out and  the few birds that are pottering around the garden are joined by all their friends and relations!  It’s getting expensive.  At least the small birds get to pick up the smaller seeds that the pheasants leave.
