Rain!

Gratitude project Day 16

Today I am grateful for the 35mm of rain that fell this afternoon. This is more rain than we have had in one drop for at least 10 months!
The children where I work, from the youngest babies to the school ready 5 year olds, reacted with huge excitement. They all sourced buckets and cups to put out in the rain to collect the water - true children of drought.
Luke, Michael and I had lunch together in town today. Luke brought his own preplanned meal - he hit 92 kg today (his heaviest yet) and he is not willing to jeopardise his journey to 100kg with a cheat meal.
