Puddles

Gratitude Project Day 17.

Today I am grateful for frozen food that allows me to put a quick and relatively healthy meal together on a Friday night after a busy week and a very noisy day at work.

The puddles in our road from yesterday afternoon’s rain remain. Today’s promised downpour has not eventuated yet, unless you count the 18 drops that fell on me when I went for my walk. If I’d not been outside I would not have known that we had anything at all. Maybe tomorrow...

Thinking, this evening, of family members attending a memorial service for a special uncle while I sit 11000km away. A sad reality of moving countries...
