Silverdale Coast

What a good day out I have had with the family. We really needed a good stress buster. We come here to the North Lancs Coast quite a lot not just because it is easily accessible but you can time visits to coincide with specific events such as the spectacle of flocks of over wintering birds or the flight of one of UKs rare butterflies. Today we went for the flowering of the wild daffodils and they are just starting to come. My aim was to blip them but the tide on Morecambe Bay was in and the wind was blowing the sea into white horses which is unusual. We spent nearly an hour picnicking in the sun out of the wind watching the tide come in. Filled nearly a 2gig card of shots.
