Sunrise...Sunset...

There is that magical time of day, just as the sun begins to set over the East River -- when the sky begins to change color and becomes a golden yellow and the buildings, bathed in the changing light, glitter like gems. Montague Street is the Main Street in the charming neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights and leads directly to the famed Brooklyn Heights Promenade. The views from the promenade are amazing and most days the promenade is filled with tourists taking in the view and capturing it on film...or iPhone. Along side the tourists are groups of workers enjoying lunch..and the view. Men and women pushing strollers...people walking their dogs...kids riding their bikes...a world class gathering!

This afternoonI happened to walk down to the promenade and took several photos...3 of which were wonderful...I actually had a hard time choosing. One was of the promenade and the surrounding buildings. Another was taken from the inside of a wonderful 2500 square foot apartment with full on views of the promenade, the water and the Manhattan skyline. But this photo captured the light best...too bad one can't post more than one photo a day. Enjoy everyone and goodnight!
