It's January, time to clean out the files, reduce the paper and get organized for tax season. In my sick little sort of way, I love this time of year. I love it for the crisp air, the morning fog, the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and the opportunity to restore a few things to order. We all but missed it last year, with life going all wonky in Mother Comfort's world. Immediately after the carpet was laid, I had an extreme bout of allergies and felt miserable for a few weeks. Hoping not to do that this year.

Last year's blip on this date was one of myfavorite commentaries during the intensity of trying to get Mother Comfort, first back to her own home with care, but finally realizing we just needed her close to us, then trying to get her to our house. Has it been a year...already?
