Satin Bower Bird

We usually only see the female Bower Birds at Wombat Hollow but this very handsome male was making himself right at home.

Apart from bashing my little toe on the bed this morning and being unable to put a shoe on, I've had a very relaxing day.  Two very relaxing days in fact and I got caught out this morning when I was still in my jamies and two lovely people arrived with two big bags of sweet potatoes for the wallabies.  They were very understanding and in fact helped me out by filling the food troughs and distributing the sweet potato I cut up for the trays.  This is the first time I've posted a male Bower Bird so I'm quite chuffed.
