On the allotments

After a frosty and foggy start the sun eventually burnt through and it was the perfect day.  Enjoyed a lovely walk this afternoon which took me past our local allotments where I saw these huge seedheads.

Sad news:  I heard today that my Sister-in-law (my ex-husband's sister but still a great friend) has suffered a stroke, speech and right side affected.  She's in hospital in Aberystwyth.  I've rung the hospital twice today to hear that she is a little better than yesterday but  hope to hear first hand from one of her daughters soon.
