Appreciation Day - creatures

We have had this weta hanging around our backdoor area for a few days.  I think he is looking for a female friend.  I appreciate that he is spending time outside rather than inside.  I appreciate that the cat leaves these insects alone.  Their back legs can give a terrific kick.
