JVM my life

Kyoto

Took the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto it was amazing like a mini Concorde on rails - the trains are so punctual, boarding so ordered, efficiency is paramount in Japan - the train skirted around the base of mt Fuji, a great view from the window. Our hotel in Kyoto was centrally located near the river and the old geisha district. The first night there I ventured to the nearby department store I could see from my hotel window. Imagine my surprise to find a cat cafe there. The blip shows all the Japanese cats you can meet. I realised after getting home I could see the window of the cafe from my room.
