Back to the coast

January is always pretty dull after all that is going on in the build-up to Christmas so we usually end up going away somewhere. We hadn't planned anything this year but about a week ago the call of the sea became strong so here we are, in a very nice 1920's bungalow backing right onto the coastal path. A quick walk along the 'prom' where I saw this cormorant drying his wings but once I got the camera out he steadfastly refused to pose any more.
