At last!

The first few hellebore buds have opened out. As you can see there are many, many buds just waiting for their turn. I think I'll need to cut back some of the tough, leathery leaves and give the buds some breathing space.

Coffee in town this morning with L and our niece Hazel. We haven't seen her since before Christmas so it was good to have a catch-up. 

This morning I waited over 20 minutes for a bus .... the service is supposed to run every ten minutes. Not long into the journey we were overtaken by the next No 18 and the two buses continued to play cat and mouse till we reached the city centre.  I paid my £1 and came home in the train,
