The view from the high path in Queens Park

We enjoyed some brief spells of sunshine this morning .....  great weather for dog walking in the park.

No leaves yet to obscure the view of tenements and church steeple. The buds are beginning to grow on the horse chestnut trees and once the trees are covered with the very large leaves the view almost disappears. 

The extra is my door handle which literally broke off in my hand. A quick call to my very helpful handyman who is coming round first thing tomorrow and that means any time after 8 am!
