Roundhouse

Managed a nice walk in the snow. At the half way point there was a treat of orange and lavender cake which was pretty delicious :-)

This building is known as The Round House and it was built in the 1790s- it's for sale at the moment. There are 5 of these houses built along the Thames and Severn Canal. Apparently there was a child's silk shoe from the 18th century which was found in the house when it was restored and it is being sold with the house "for luck".

Hoping to get another longer walk in tomorrow with a little luck but we'll see! Still hoping this snow will melt before Monday.
