Ella

I had my blip sorted early, taken as we walked the Salt Water Creek track early this morning.  We chose this track because there is lots of shade to help keep us cool. It was and still is hot. This  picturesque, historic bluestone arched bridge built around 1870 is where we turn around and head back.  The creek is totally covered with green weed as we haven't had rain since I don't know when. The walk takes about an hour, home in time for our mid morning coffee.
Any rate, my intended blip is now as an extra, as this photo came through from our daughter Janelle via text of Ella as coxswain in the eights at Lake Karapiro.  Ella rows for her school, because she is of slight build she is coxswain for the eights and quads. They came in second and go straight into the finals, in quads they have gone into the semi-finals.....its their first season/summer, and are in the Novice section, they have done well in recent competitions.

Tennis watching and soon the India v Black Caps 20/20 cricket match will start.
