We now have a fully functional shower. When I replaced the riser rail, the screw for the lower attachment wasn’t anywhere near long enough to secure it to the wall. It had been practically hanging by the top one only. With all the recent shower shenanigans, it became so loose as to be unusable
Cue another trip to Screwfix.
I got a box of 200 screws so I could use one to fix the riser rail. It’s now solid as a rock, and I’m going in to test it all properly.
(We’ve been using the downstairs shower in the meantime, so we’re not all smelly like yesterday’s runner man.)
Update: it works! Who needs to get a man in? ;)
