On the horizon

These trees are in Handsworth Park a few miles from Birmingham City Centre.  It is round about 6 acres of green space with two pools, some play areas, a leisure centre, a community garden, the railway line, an arts trail.  We visited last week on a pouring wet day so didn't wander far to try to find the sculptures I wanted to photograph.  This morning, the weather was slightly better so we went looking.  With help from some of the locals we found them both - I liked one, SS Journey by Luke Perry, but the other one did not inspire me.  We left Dad sitting in the car as we had taken him to the skin clinic at the hospital.  He was very patient!  Then we went for a pub lunch together.

We decided today that we will not be going to China in a few weeks.  We were in Canada when the SARS epidemic was on some years ago and it was extremely unsettling so we have decided to delay our China Trip for a while.  We have sorted out an alternative destination!

TYM is very difficult at the moment.  Not sure where all that is going to go.
