1917.

Acclaimed for its cinematography - and quite rightly so. It’s won some serious awards since its release - more will definitely follow. It’s as though it’s one scene from start to finish; a superb effect and we stayed glued to the screen. Simple plot, easy to follow and quite harrowing; you could hear a pin drop in the Macrobert Arts Centre at the University of Stirling. Usual seats and well mannered audience, a good venue for me. We’d a Campus walk afterwards. Several big University projects on, as mentioned before. The new Sports Centre one seems to be making progress, but the Atrium operation looks like it’s a still a long way to go.

Home for tomato soup and oat cakes.
