And he's off!

For quite a few weeks Terry has been lamenting his lack of commitment to getting out on his skies this winter! So much so, that i started charging him a $ every time he said it and didn't follow thro! So finally, with the snow coming down pretty heavily...he decided that enough was enough....and there he goes! Good for him....i don't think he owes me too much right now, cos i think i also said i'd give him $10 each time we did head out! I might even have lost a few bucks here!!

I'm not a big fan of cross country skiing...i love downhill skiing, but somehow i've never really enjoyed the somewhat flimsy feeling i get with the equipment - compared to the feeling of control with downhill ski gear! oh well....i much prefer heading out on foot or with my snowshoes! Now here's another situation where i'm guilty of saying 'i should get out more on my snowshoes' - luckily Terry hasn't picked up on that yet!

It's been a nice cosy day - reading, a bit of art exploration and an actual customer! Sold a pair of mugs i did!!!

Also made a delicious butternut squash soup!
