It May Be Winter Outside

A quite nice train travel in a sleeper to Lapland - about 14 h. We noticed the sun rising around 9:15 (and I took this one at that period), but as we travelled north the whole time, the sunrise went on and on and on. At the same time, the snow depth increased all the time. In Kolari, the end of the line, the snow was 80 cm deep and the temperature was -23C (0 cm and +2C in Helsinki, when we departed).
