Gingerbread George

I've been at work all day today so haven't been able to take my camera outside as it was dark when I got back. So I thought I'd introduce you to Gingerbread George, my little corn snake. I got him the first Christmas I worked at Costa, where we sell a gingerbread-man called...you guessed it George, hence his name.

Just by chance I managed to get the picture at the perfect moment, he is quite the cheeky chap! Although everyone thinks that snakes are odd pets; cold, non-affectionate with an unblinking stare. But George is lovely, he loves being handled and is full of character. He is as adorable to me as any puppy or kitten.
