Hail

Bit of a surprise when the hail shower moved in while I was out this morning. I'd almost decided to walk further to give Flora some decent exercise and I'm glad I didn't when this happened. Mind you it was all gone a minute later. Flora had great fun while it lasted. I think this is her first experience of hail.

I should have been in Dundee doing a day's work. On Friday I had an email cancelling the gig. It's quite annoying when you've done the prep. But it's also the deal and I'm lucky I don't have to rely on this work to pay the bills. So I have a day at home. Glad I planted the bulbs yesterday. Today doesn't feel like a day for the garden. It feels like a day for making a 'shepherd's pie' with lentils rather than lamb.
