Carrick Du

It was dreary morning again with some light rain falling. By late morning it had stopped and we decided to go for a walk. We walked through town and out along Porthmeor beach then followed the coast path out past the headland in yesterday's blip.

The path was easy, it's asphalted for most of the way and we walked out to Clodgey Point, where there were some seals playing in the bay. As we walked back we met a friendly black and white cat who followed us along the path. I was a bit concerned it might follow us home but a short while later we met a coastguard who was on a shout looking for a person and a dog in distress. He told us the cat lived in his street and was often down on the path.

We stopped in town and had fish and chips for lunch which went down very well.
