Again

One of the dining chairs we inherited from the previous owners had got a bit wobbly so I started taking it apart.

Hmm, previous repair strategies here seem to have included Bigger Screws and Araldite.  Indeed, a quick review of some other chairs in the set seems to have had a chequered history.  By the time I'd finished opening one joint the other three had come apart.  Grind off the araldite, apply wood glue. Liberal strapping. Offer prayer.
