Cone With The Wind

The hot dry nor-wester that we had a couple of days ago has cracked open all of the cones on our pine tree.

I thought I'd capture it before all the seeds escaped. I love the texture of the bark on this one

Up until today the only difficulty was coming up with something different to shoot. Tomorrow I'm back to work for 2013, so now it will be finding the time and energy at the end of a day :)
