Abstract Thursday - Landscape

Its very hot and windy, drying our land out even more.  There are a couple of fires in Canterbury today which is a worry. A total fire ban is in place I understand.
I think my blip shows the windy conditions, also showing the golden paddocks which will be harvested very soon. This one isn't taken from our door as many of my homescape images are - this is taken from the edge of our paddock, with the grasses going wild in the wind.....iPhone11 on Live to get the movement in the grasses.

I preserved our beetroot this afternoon, another boiler is bubbling on the stove now and will be ready to put into jars after dinner.
