Another day, another trip

Early start as I was off to the hairdresser to have my colour redone to hide all the grey and en route passed this beautiful newly uncovered ghost sign. The building used to be a bank building but is now turning into a bar and restaurant and the new owners have pledged to keep the sign.

Hair freshly recoloured and Mr PHL picked me up and we drove through to Glasgow as we off to a final concert as part of Celtic Connections. As the venue was the Mitchell theatre we took the opportunity to visit the archives department to try and further our family history searches but as we didn’t have enough details in our heads we ended up in the cafe!

Dinner at the Finneston bar was delicious fish and chips before we headed back to the theatre.
Fabulous concert - wee band called Assynt for the first half were followed by the Orcadians of Hudson Bay who were both superb.

Home a little too late to blip so back blipping on Friday 31st.
