Hidcote Manor Garden

Ann swapped her Saturday morning at Blue Cross to Friday so we had a free day.  Well I say free but this morning was taken up by the weekly trip to Morrison's.

After lunch we went out to the National Trust property, Hidcote Manor Gardens.  During the 'off' season I think it's only open on weekends. We had a nice drink in the cafe then as the place was closing at 4pm we took a little walk through the hamlet adjacent to Hidcote.  It's very quaint with thatched roofs, free range chickens and a duck pond.

The picture is taken from the Hidcote gardens of one of the houses.  Taken through the branches and leaves of the giant laburnum tree into the sun.
