Warwick Racecourse

It snowed all day today, but luckily the roads were clear enough for us to get to Maureen and Ian's for lunch; their car park being the only iffy part of the drive.

Ian made a wonderful lunch of herb encrusted, roasted mozzarella starter followed by a squash risotto washed down with a very nice red. Maureen produced a pudding that was totally yummy.

After lunch we donned boots and took a walk over the racecourse. Two young people had been working on a snow art installation since we arrived at the flat and we wanted to see the completed work. It turned out to be a massive smiley face with a message below, picked out in blue spray paint, the snow equivalent of street art.

There were quite a few people out walking their dogs or with children using the slopes for their sledging. I took a few pictures, in very difficult condition, no light, driving snow, cold fingers etc. but decided I'd use this one I took from the warmth of the flat for my blip pic.
