Going up

The first layer of plasterboard to ground floor ceiling going up. To comply with building regulations 2 layers of plasterboard, with staggered joints, will cover the whole of the ground floor ceiling. This gives 60minute fire protection between floors. On top of the plasterboard 100mm if acoustic insulation is rolled out, which, combined with the plasterboard, will hopefully deaden noise transfer from the floor above.
