New Tire Day

While sitting and waiting for 4 new tires (types?) to be put on my car, there was nothing much to do but to rea magazines and blip what was in front of me. The checkbook is $400 lighter but the ride feels firm and quieter.
Warranty for 40,000 miles which is about how long the dear old car will last (or less).
